Sanika Chavan is an architect by profession with an avid experience of more than 21 years in the real estate industry. Sanika is a poetess and has won accolades; one of her poetries is published by US Library of Congress in their book “In the Quiet Hours” in 2001. Her intuitiveness since childhood led her to spirituality at a very young age further supported by her familial upbringing. She is also a trained Past Life Regression Therapist, practicing since many years and healing herself in the garb of doing sessions for her friends and family. “Feelings finding an expression through words have led to the inception of this book”. Sanika demonstrates her tussles with life from childhood and traverses through various facets of her life and her quest to understand the journey. During her challenging times, books have been her guiding light and it is her humble attempt to “pay it forward” and also to revisit and relive the learnings. Miracles lie in trivial moments and choices which subtly lead to huge transformations. She further quotes; “Choose to let life happens to us; choice is the ultimate blessing bestowed to mankind”.
Let’s dive into the interview with the author to know the journey.
Can you tell us a little about your book?
Monotony is truly not a quality of life and situations lead us to new journeys, new learnings, and new challenges in life. As they all say “Nirvana” is not an event it is a process; a process to move on; a process to discover; unearth and unwind & so is life.
Just the way there are levels in video games; life also has its levels where the game gets harder as you traverse through level after level. Life teaches us lessons that when everything is haywire and nothing goes as planned; we have to stand there and witness it and imbibe that it is all momentary after all and this too shall pass…….
All of the above is demonstrated in the book through the author’s experiences over her life span. Life is as simple or as complex as we make it. The key to Happiness is imbibing the 3A’s in life: Awareness, Acceptance & Acknowledgement; Awareness that nothing is in our control; acceptance of the same by changing our gestalt, and finally acknowledging that life is simple if we live every moment with gratitude.
