Let’s dive into the interview with the author to know the journey of “Falling Into The Sun”.

Can you tell us a little about your book?

Could anybody ever imagine the existence of life on a star discovering all of its strange features? Falling Into the Sun is the first part of my science fantasy novel series which introduces 3 astronauts making their way into the sun. Catch them up with their journey of humor, drama, thrill, romance, and suspense as they are all set to witness the secretive and marvelous creations of the universe.

Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out-of-the-blue idea?

I always wanted to alter the way we generally look at the universe and the planets for myself. While everybody around said nobody can even touch the sun What If I could land and live on the Sun? This simple question that I asked myself on one random day got me to write and publish the first part of my novel series.

What got you writing in the first place?

“I belong to the Earth but my dreams cross the horizon”, said yours truly. This is a line from my book which serves as the primary reason to write my book. I believe that my writings are a way to express my imaginative world to the real world. Moreover, I have always considered Sun & Moon to be my superheroes, and writing about them was my biggest dream.

What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?

I am still absorbing the fact that I have written a whole book. It’s unbelievable yet satisfying at the same time. It has been a long journey as the idea came when I was 16, I wrote my first draft when I was 17, it was completed and finalized when I was 18 and I am publishing it at 19. When the first draft was ready, I was happy yet thought nobody was going to read it. After a lot of confusion and self-doubts, here I am today talking about my debut book which makes me proud of my everlasting dedication.

Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?

I have been a big lover of love stories and the incomplete love story of my book characters which may or may not be completed in the next part connects with me the most not because of my personal life but because of the way it is depicted in the book. When Masliona talks to herself and self-reflects all of what strange things happened with them, that is one thing I really love as it is my favorite habit of self-talking.

What makes your book the one to read?

It’s a light humorous read which makes one fall in love with the characters. If one wants to learn more about the unrevealed mysteries of the universe, one can go grab a copy. A combination of various terms of our daily life which we cannot even think of is introduced. For example, the sleeping sun, noodle man, baby of 20, night rainbow, etc. “Once you start reading it, you will catch yourself smiling all the time and turning one page after the other”, this is what my first reviewer said too.

What was the best advice you got while writing?

Write what you love with all your heart without thinking about the end results. This is advice that I got from my author friend and mentor which has made me put in all my efforts and love into my book and its characters.

Who’s your all-time favorite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?

Attention Potter Heads! How far JK Rowling in spite of facing numerous rejections has taken Harry Potter is a big motivation for me. Though I have read and watched only bits and pieces of the Harry Potter series yet it continues to inspire me throughout my journey.

What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?

Write whatever the best you can. Enjoy the journey and believe in yourself. Writing a perfect masterpiece doesn’t exist but just pour in all your love and spread smiles among your readers. Making a place in people’s hearts through your work must be your primary aim.

What was your hardest scene to write?

The Great Action scene. I was sure that I want to include action in my story. Everything about what type of action, when, how, and between whom was decided but I being a non-violent person myself was confused if I will be able to write one. But I was relieved when my brother sat with me and helped me complete it in one go itself.

Do you have another plot brewing?

This is not even a question. I am going to go on writing now. The second part of my science fantasy novel series is already in the making which is going to be even more exciting and full of upcoming twists and suspense. Stay tuned as it’ll also be released super soon. Till then, Have a good read:)
