A year ago, the Covid 19 pandemic had taken the world by storm and that’s when the lockdown was announced. That’s exactly when she held her pen and started this beautiful journey. Bringing her feelings out in an uncomplicated manner is all she believes in. She thinks it’s quite important to know the essence of literature.

She believes that words can outlive everything else in this universe. Even after she’s gone, she aims to leave her footprints on the sands of time, prominently through her writings. She has read more than 200 books by various Indian as well as foreign authors and even now she’s reading voraciously.  Learning lessons from life, made her believe in writing. Even in pensive situations, she takes care to notice things and try to connect with the happenings. And she promises to write the best stories for people to make this world a better place.

Let’s dive into the interview with the author to know the journey of “Another Chapter to be Told”.

Can you tell us a little about your book?

It is a story of your favorite character Aanya and her friends. A sequel to my debut book “The Definite Part Of Indefinite Life”. A story about dreams, passion, and forgiveness. A story that will teach you something exciting in every chapter. A story that will tell you not every person you think to be is a good one.

What got you writing in the first place?

Lockdown did. Unlike other writers, my love for words increased during the lockdown.

What makes your book the one to read?

It is a story of hope, dreams, forgiveness, love, and friendship. It is a sequel to my debut book “The Definite Part Of Indefinite Life”. So, readers wanted to know what further happened in the protagonist’s life. The book will keep you hooked as it is full of surprises. The plot will take different turns and twists.

What was the best advice you got while writing?

To keep writing despite the ebbs and flows. Don’t seek support people may or may not do it. You write because you want to. You tell the story because you have something to tell. The world will acknowledge it eventually.

Who’s your all-time favorite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?

Paulo Coelho.

What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?

Remember to give up on ‘Giving Up’ Come what may keep writing. Even if your work is not recognized today eventually it’ll be recognized. Never expect support from anyone because some people will never know the importance of literature. Writing will heal you and help you in your journey. Writing has embraced you in your lowest and you should do.

What was your hardest scene to write?

There was this one scene where I had to write something about forgiveness. The leading character in the book does a crime that no one can forgive. But the protagonist will choose to forgive hIm. So I didn’t have any words there. That part was the hardest. And since the protagonist is narrating the story, I had to make sure the readers aren’t confused about whether the situations are happening in the present or the past.

Do you have another plot brewing?

Yes. A series is already in the making which is going to be even more exciting. Stay tuned as it’ll also be released super soon.
